Bring Spaces Albany Park to Your Community
Spaces Albany Park is being created with the people and organizations that bring our neighborhood together.

We’re inviting community organizations, schools, businesses, faith communities, restaurants, block clubs, and other Albany Park groups to join us.
Host a Community Story Circle
Invite the people in your community to gather, share stories about their experiences in Albany Park, and enjoy a free meal together.
APTP artists and youth leaders lead the 2–3 hour gathering, using simple, fun activities to create a welcoming, pressure-free environment. Everyone chooses their own level of participation.
You provide:
A comfortable space and help inviting your community. (Don’t have a space? No problem! We’ll find one.)
APTP provides:
Facilitators, activities, food and refreshments.
We’ll schedule the Story Circle at a time that works for your community. Story Circles are available in English and Español, and we’ll work with you to arrange other languages in locations throughout Albany Park.
Other Ways to Partner
You can also:
- Connect us with people whose Albany Park stories we should hear
- Invite people in your community to participate in one-on-one interviews
- Share Spaces Albany Park through your networks
- Introduce us to other Albany Park organizations, businesses, and community leaders
- Share your own Albany Park story
We want Spaces to reflect the full range of cultures, languages, generations, communities, and experiences that give Albany Park its life.
What Are We Building Together?
In Fall 2027, stories gathered through Spaces will become part of a public performance that turns Albany Park itself into a stage. Audiences will journey through the neighborhood, guided by musicians and dancers and encountering stories shared by community members.
But Spaces begins now, with neighbors meeting neighbors, people listening to one another, and stories and relationships growing across Albany Park.
We hope you’ll be part of it.
