Resident Designer

Scott has been the Resident Scenic Designer at APTP since 2006. His Chicago credits include Sita Ram (Chicago Children’s Choir); Sunset Limited (Steppenwolf Theatre Co.); Manuscript Found in Saragossa (Lookingglass Theatre Company). St. Louis credits include Clybourne Park and The Invisible Hand (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis); The Very Last Green Thing (Opera Theatre of St. Louis); Awake and Sing (The New Jewish Theatre); Cooking with Elisa and Blood Knot (Upstream Theater). His theme park designs include Klump Island, Tivoli Gardens Copenhagen (The Jco LLC); Sesame Street’s Safari of Fun, Busch Gardens Tampa, and Sesame Street’s Forest of Fun, Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Suzanne Sessions Inc.); Sea Carousel, SeaWorld Orlando.

Scott received his MFA from Northwestern University in 2006. He is an adjunct professor at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis, MO. He is also a credited contributor to the collegiate textbook “Scene Design and Stage Lighting,” 9th and 10th Editions (Parker, Wolf & Block)
