Homecoming

Health & Safety: Covid-19 Protocols

Welcome back! We are excited to welcome you to Homecoming. Before coming to the theater, please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the policies and practices we’ve established to help support the health and safety of our teen artists, staff and guests. As guidelines change frequently, please check this page close to your performance date.

Proof of Vaccination Required
All guests will need to show proof that they are fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorized vaccine. “Fully vaccinated” means that the performance or event date must be at least 14 days after receiving the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or at least 14 days after a single-dose vaccine. All of APTP’s staff and artists are fully vaccinated.

APTP will not admit any guests who do not provide proof of vaccination as required above, accompanied by a valid ID.

Masking
All guests must wear masks at all times, including while seated during the performance. Masks must be worn properly, covering the nose and mouth, and meet CDC standards: neck gaiters, bandanas and masks with exhalation valves are not accepted. Guests without appropriate face coverings will be provided a disposable face mask.

Exchanges
Not feeling well? Just leave a message at 773-866-0875 and we will happily exchange your tickets for another performance. Guests agree not to attend performances or events if they feel unwell, have any COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days, or have had close contact with anyone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19.

Risk Assumption
Guests understand that there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Guests purchasing tickets and attending APTP events voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Community
We appreciate you following these guidelines to help keep our community as healthy and safe as possible. We reserve the right to require guests who do not follow our guidelines to leave immediately. Guests who are disrespectful or discourteous to other guests or staff may also be asked to leave.

For those who aren’t ready to return to live theater and for those who don’t live near Chicago, APTP will broadcast a professional video recording of Homecoming in Fall, 2022. We invite those who can not or choose not to follow these guidelines to join us for the broadcast in the fall.
