Monica M. Brown

Monica M. Brown (she/her) grew up in Chicago and has a passion for supporting bold theatrical new work in her hometown. She has worked consistently with APTP since 2013 where her credits include Home/Land, God’s Work and FEAST, all presented at Goodman Theater, as well Ofrenda and Homecoming at APTP’s home space in Albany Park. Monica is the Production Stage Manager for APTP’s current long-running production of Port of Entry and she stage managed Learning Curve, APTP’s previous immersive endeavor, also created in partnership with Third Rail Projects. Monica’s other recent Chicago credits include work with Filament Theater, The Neo-Futurists, Young Peoples’ Theater of Chicago, Chicago Children’s Theater, and The New Coordinates, where she was an ensemble member for many years. Monica has spent time working as a Guest Artist in Stage Management at her alma mater, Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA and is a proud graduate of Chicago Public Schools.
