Matches in the Dark
“What is the meaning of life? That was all. A simple question. One that tended to close in on one with the years. But the great revelation never came. Perhaps it never would. Instead there were little daily miracles, illuminations, matches struck unexpectedly in the dark.” Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse
APTP celebrated its fourth birthday with a retrospective that showcased 11 audience and company favorites selected from the more than 30 original performance pieces APTP created from 1997 to 2001. Program A featured Mr. Edwards, Mama Lisa, Graduation Day, Jihad, and Dig Pull Pat. Program B featured After Michael, Delinquent Behavior, Roll Off My Back, What If, On Top of the World, and World Street. The two programs were performed in rotating rep for a month.
