Grant Landau-Williams
Development Coordinator
Grant Landau-Williams (they/them/theirs) is the Development Coordinator at Albany Park Theater Project. This is one of the first steps in Grant’s professional life as they graduated from Skidmore College in May, 2019, with a B.S. in theatre, with a concentration in directing. There they studied and created work, focussing on elevating the voices of underrepresented students in the department and on campus. During this time Grant held the title of the theatre department’s Manager of Outreach and Inclusion, where they were responsible for increasing community engagement, particularly with the aforementioned underrepresented students, and created programs for this work to continue.
Outside of their schooling, Grant interned with a Pennsylvania theater called People’s Light, where they worked closely with their Director of Community Investment, learning even more ways to connect with audiences and promote culturally relevant work. Since moving to Chicago in October of 2019, Grant has been finding theater wherever they can, working on productions with friends and local companies, and always making art, be it theatrical, visual or musical, in their spare time. Stay tuned for more to come!
