Gustavo Duran
Teaching Artist
Gustavo Duran (he/him/his) is a Teaching Artist in APTP’s School-Based Program. Gustavo was part of the APTP ensemble from 2012 through 2016 where he contributed in devising and performing in I Will Kiss These Walls, God’s Work, Feast and Learning Curve. After living in Albany Park the majority of his life, he attended The College of Wooster in northeast Ohio where he graduated with a B.A. in Communications.
In his time in college, he continued working in the world of theatre through his studies and performing and directing opportunities. At Wooster, Gustavo also collaborated with various organizations whose mission is to advocate and bring awareness to underrepresented groups. In his final year, he worked with his college’s Admissions Team in the recruitment process for high school students exploring their higher education avenues. After his graduation in 2020, he returned to Albany Park where he continues to explore opportunities in working with artists of all backgrounds.
